“ We enjoyed a delicious dinner here with a group of 6 for a birthday. We had a special bottle of wine that we brought from home, 25 corking fee. We shared a handful of appetizers including calamari and shrimp picatta, all really yummy! A good variety of dinners for everyone, steaks, pasta and lasagna. The sharing chateau briand was so tender it fell apart and the pasta was perfection! Fun atmosphere and our server was great, attentive and nice. Wonderful birthday celebration! ”

“ All I can say is Bravo! Bravo! Came here for Valentines day dinner and sure glad we did! The food is out of this world good!! Ordered rack of lamb and wife ordered grouper, which was the catch of the day. The entrees included choice of salad, pasta or vegetables of the day. We picked salads, which were very fresh and delicious only rather basic as it was lettuce, one tomato wedge and olives. I ordered blue cheese dressing with it and was yummy. The bread was plentiful and came with butter and dipping oil with I believe to be olives in it as well. Really good!! The entrees were absolutely to die for!! Rack of lamb was grilled and seasoned to perfection and sooo tender!! Portion was far larger than anticipated. Grouper was absolutely MASSIVE and looked incredible. We both added a baked potato LOADED! They didnt disappoint as the waiter brought me an additional plate of toppings for extra loaded !! It was 6 dollars to add potato, but worth every penny! The waiter Christian was one of the, if not THE BEST server weve ever had. He did not miss a beat, knew everything about the menu, and made great recommendations for the food and drinks. Place is very nice inside and plenty of parking! ”

“ Ivarones and I go way back. The family has been in the business since the 40s, Carmine opened this place in the early 80s and his brother Malio who had a place on Dale Mabry moved his place downtown. Carmine is still around but his sons run the place now. The food has always been great in my 30 plus years as a customer. Diverse is a word that comes to mind and I am not just talking food. From seafood to steaks to pastas and salads, all your bases are covered. The steaks are amazing as is the seafood. They have all your basic pasta dishes that are always on point. The list is endless in its uses, here are a multitude of ways I have exploited it. Romantic dinners, family visits, out of town guests, lunch sandwiches at the bar, business lunches and dinners, work parties, birthdays, holidays and my favorite...sneaking over for a house salad, the lasagna or a sandwich and a glass of chianti. While times change, prices change and the menu changes...great food is a constant. The house salad has changed, its much smaller than I remember and looks different. They should not have changed that. The lasagna is the same, comforting and tasty. The chianti wine is good, on tap now. My favorite shrimp are gone, forgot the name, so I had the calamari. Lightly breaded, perfectly cooked but stingy with the marinara. Cmon guys, really! Ivarones has been that trusted and true friend that stands tall in your life with whom youve shared many great experiences. Like having dinner at a table next to Derek Jeter. Many celeb sightings and many cherished memories with friends and family over the years. This place is a hidden treasure, they stay busy so use reservations for dinner, during the week you can walk in for lunch. They have their own free parking as well as a full bar and a hidden rooftop area for events. Come get you some and find a new place to hang. Pricing is now moderate to high. ”

“ We had a surprise party for some friends here. There were 28 of us total oure server. Robo P never missed a beat,and every meal came out as expected. All of the portions were large and filling. And drinks were never left empty. The only downside was the Monsoon that came on when we were all leaving. ”

“ Went here for our oneyear wedding anniversary and to celebrate us having a child the staff could not have been more accommodating two our requests added to our experience by putting us up on the rooftop alone and really creating an awesome atmosphere with low lighting and extreme privacy while still coming around often and making sure everything was perfect, which it was. The lamb was some of the best I have had in forever and my wifes steak couldnt have been cooked any better. The servers really knew the product and what they were selling and it was just a really great place to be. Definitely a slept on place, And somewhere that we will be returning to often, also on a note compared to other places of this quality. The prices are amazing. I believe the lamb was something about 50 And came with fettuccine alfredo a salad bread ”

“ Solid Italian inspired steakhouse hidden off the main road of Dale Mabry. The atmosphere inside is like you are in New York City dining at a restaurant. The steaks are well seasoned and cooked to perfection as it melts in your mouth like butter. I recommend sharing the Chateaubriand. It was one of the best cuts of meat Ive ever eaten. The fresh spinach was also a delicious side. The house salad is very basic, but it has a nice dressing. The well crafted cocktails are a highlight, and I definitely recommend an old fashioned or espresso martini. Leave room for dessert as you wont be disappointed! ”

“ Had a delicious dinner tonight. Fabulous food... Grouper alla Capri was excellent. Eggplant parm is also delicious. Yummy dessert..had the chocolate cake. Service was the best. Our server Christy provided outstanding service. This is not a fast food or casual place. The prices reflect the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I believe the price is fair for the superb meal and service. All in all a great night. We will come again soon. ”
